This invite was made from various small components that all helped with the overall look of the design. The vintage style was fun to try and create using different brushes, tones and techniques that I had not used since my uni days. I also loved the craft element to this and finding the correct textures the bind the whole look together.

Wash away MRSA

This is a project i worked on with a team of people in Heartlands Hospital as a graphic designer inNHS Media Hub.

The idea was to advertise a new body wash that patients would use and would help to kill bugs such as MRSA.

The rubber duck seemed to fit perfectly with this project and by using a striking colour like yellow other than NHS blue was a refreshing change.

Wedding invitations

This wedding stationary collection keeps with tradition. A foiled main design that used throughout the collection, using a main rich colour with a bit of sparkle. The client wanted an elegant invite and by using golds and reds with a textured paper i think i have achieved this.

Avengers campaign

This campaign is to raise awareness about HIV testing. the saving lives avengers can be seen all over Birmingham from the backs of buses to bus stops and magazines. This campaign needs to appeal to a wide audience and by using sport personalities from the area as super hero I think we have done that. The campaign is fun but carrying a serious message.

Baseline Magazine

This magazine cover and inside adverts were designs to help raise awareness of HIV testing for HIV testing week.

The Avengers theme was used throughout Birmingham. The charities Ambassadors are the main focal point of this campaign and we tried to put them in a setting were they look like Super heroes.

Staff and Volunteer Art Exhibition

This booklet was to show off hidden talents of the Heart of England Foundation Trust’s staff and volunteers.

There were many pieces to include but did not want it to look heavy. Due to the excellent photography produced by www.nhsphotohub.com some of the pages were full bleed to give some body to the booklet otherwise i think it would have looked ‘too bitty’

Saving Lives Football ads

As part of the Saving Lives awareness campaign advertisements are placed in the football club programmes such as Aston Villa FC, Birmingham City FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, West Bromwich Albion to name a few.

The advertisments are kept bright and the branding kept strong.

Maternity Choices booklet

This booklet was created for Heart of England Foundation Trust. I work for the Medical Illustration Department for this trust and some of this work will be featured on this site.

This booklet is to show mothers to be the different facilities that are available. I wanted to to keep the booklet in calm neutral colours and instead of going for an obvious baby photo on the cover I went for some clean typography.
